1. Power Off the Printer

Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source to prevent any accidental damage or injury.

2. Open the Printer Cover

  • Lift the top cover of the printer.
  • If necessary, remove the ribbon cartridge to gain better access.

3. Locate the Jammed Card

  • Check the input hopper, card path, and output tray for any stuck cards.
  • If you see a card, gently pull it out in the direction it was supposed to move.

4. Use the Manual Advance Knob

  • On the right side of the printer, find the manual card feed knob.
  • Rotate it slowly to manually push or pull the jammed card through.

5. Remove Any Obstructions

  • Check for dust, debris, or bent cards that might be causing the jam.
  • Clean the rollers with an isopropyl alcohol cleaning card if needed.

6. Reload Cards Properly

  • Ensure the cards are clean, unwrapped, and properly stacked in the input hopper.
  • Avoid overloading the card tray.

7. Restart the Printer

  • Reinsert the ribbon cartridge (if removed).
  • Close the cover, plug the printer back in, and power it on.
  • Run a test print to confirm everything is working.

8. Perform Regular Maintenance
